Mikayla & Justin’s Elegant Carolina Grove Wedding

Some weddings are beautiful because of the details. Others are beautiful because of the people behind them. Mikayla and Justin’s wedding was both.

From the very beginning, it was such a joy working alongside Mikayla and her mom to bring their vision to life. Every decision was intentional, resulting in a celebration that felt timeless, elegant, and incredibly welcoming. Carolina Grove provided the perfect setting with its bright modern architecture, towering trees, and seamless indoor-outdoor spaces, allowing every design element to shine.

Soft ivory, blush, and fresh greenery created a romantic color palette that carried throughout the entire day. Gold accents, classic typography, and layered textures gave every space an elevated feel while still feeling warm and inviting.

Thoughtfully Designed Details

One of our favorite parts of this wedding was creating a cohesive collection of custom signage and day-of paper goods that tied everything together.

Guests were welcomed with a clean, modern welcome sign featuring warm gold lettering and a crystal sconce overhead, paired with lush floral arrangements by BKD Florals. Throughout the venue, every piece was designed to complement the overall aesthetic while remaining functional for guests.

From the custom ceremony fans to the linen bar menu, every detail reflected Mikayla and Justin’s timeless style. Even practical pieces became part of the overall design story.

A Statement Seating Chart

The seating chart quickly became one of our favorite installations from the day.

Designed as a freestanding architectural display, it featured oversized framed panels filled with vintage-inspired gold mirrors, layered typography, soft floral accents, and elegant lighting. The centerpiece quote, “I would find you in any lifetime,” created a meaningful focal point while guiding guests to their tables. (seating chart inspired by Signs By Viv)

The combination of classic architectural details with modern styling perfectly reflected the overall wedding aesthetic.

A Celebration Filled with Incredible Vendors

One of the best parts of this wedding was collaborating with such an incredibly talented vendor team. Every detail came together beautifully thanks to the creativity and professionalism of everyone involved, making the entire experience seamless for both the couple and their guests.
